Roofing & Gutter Systems for Greater Dayton Homes

A roof is a system, not a layer of shingles. We inspect carefully, explain what we find, and build to The Helping Hands Roofing Standard.

What we do

Roofing and gutter systems for Greater Dayton homes, inspected, built, and documented to The Helping Hands Roofing Standard.

Roof Replacement

When a roof reaches the end of its life, we rebuild the whole system, not just the surface. A replacement starts with the deck: every board is walked and checked before new material goes down, because a new roof is only as sound as what it's fastened to. Decking, underlayment, flashing, and ventilation are inspected and corrected, then finished with a new asphalt-shingle system built to The Helping Hands Roofing Standard.

Storm Damage Roofing

After a Greater Dayton storm, the honest first step is an inspection you can trust. We document the roof's condition, every finding photographed and dated, whether or not it supports an insurance claim, so you get a clear, defensible picture of what the wind and hail actually did. We explain the damage plainly and never push a claim the evidence doesn't support.

Seamless Gutter Installation

Gutters are part of a roof's water management, not a separate add-on. We form seamless gutters on site and size and slope them to carry water away from the fascia, soffit, and foundation the roof is there to protect. Undersized or poorly pitched gutters quietly send water back toward the house; ours are built to move Greater Dayton's heavy rain where it belongs.

Gutter Guard Installation

A gutter guard is only worth installing if it genuinely reduces maintenance for the long run. The wrong guard on the wrong roof can trade leaf buildup for debris packed underneath, out of sight. We match the guard to your roof and gutters so cleaning gets easier without creating a new problem you can't see from the ground.

Aub Holley, Founder of Helping Hands Roofing

Aub Holley, Founder

Aub Holley founded Helping Hands Roofing in 2016 with a straightforward belief: homeowners deserve honest advice, quality workmanship, and a contractor who treats their home with care. He built the company around clear communication, thorough inspections, and doing the work the right way, even when the details will never be visible from the ground. Aub is also an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot, which allows HHR to use aerial photography and drone documentation when it can provide a more complete view of a roofing system.

The Helping Hands Roofing Standard grew from the same belief Aub built the company around: homeowners deserve more than the bare minimum. We build the roofing system the way we would want it built on our own home, document the work that matters, and stand behind it after the crew leaves. When we complete a project for you, you're welcomed into the Helping Hands Roofing family. That's what Families Helping Families means to us.

How it works

  1. 1

    Inspect and document

We inspect the roofing system carefully and document what we find, including conditions that won't be visible after the work is complete. When aerial photography provides a better view, we use drone documentation as part of the inspection.

  2. 2

    Recommend honestly

We explain what the roof actually needs, answer your questions, and recommend only the work we believe is necessary.

  3. 3

Build to the Standard, and prove it

Code is the minimum. The Helping Hands Roofing Standard is our target. We add protection where experience tells us roofs are most vulnerable and document key stages before the work is covered.

Serving Greater Dayton from Beavercreek

Helping Hands Roofing is based in Beavercreek and works with homeowners across the Greater Dayton area. We build for the region's real conditions, the spring and summer thunderstorms, wind and hail, heavy rain, and the freeze-and-thaw swings that work at a roof through the winter. The clearest proof of where we work is the work itself: every project on this site is a real HHR job, documented with our own photography and tied to the community it was done in.

What Greater Dayton homeowners say

I would absolutely recommend Helping Hands to anyone. They did a great job replacing my roof and downspouts. I appreciate the amount of work that they put into helping me with my insurance company and how much they cared about me. They helped with things I'm quite sure other companies wouldn't have cared about. In the end, when my insurance company wouldn't budge, they made sure I was taken care of. Thank you for everything.

They did an excellent job on my roof - both dealing with insurance and with getting a quality roof installed (and fast once insurance finally approved (storm damage)). I'm impressed with (1) how quickly/thoroughly they stayed in touch each step of the way, (2) the level of effort they put into dealing with insurance (being there for the initial insurance inspection, getting another shingle out for insurance when it seemed that insurance lost the one they took to attempt to identify the shingles, etc.), (3) how quickly they came out during the waiting-for-insurance-to-get-back-on-shingle-identification to tarp, (4) how they stand behind their work (materials used and the install), and (5) how quickly they had the whole roof on the schedule and completed. They seem passionate about the customer getting quality results every step of the way. I give it a 10/10 and highly recommend Helping Hands.
